Yu-gi-oh TCG

I loved yu-gi-oh trading card game(TCG) since the start of my primary school where my peers influenced me. It was the most popular card game in class when the tests are over. I liked to savour the enjoyment and excitement of trying out a new deck.
First, I start watching, "Yu-Gi-Oh" the fist anime of the yu-gi-oh series. I could feel the fun of collecting and trying out new card in the anime.
However, I had not received or buy any deck until I was in Secondary school.. I finally saved enough money to afford myself a structure deck. This was due to the fact that my love for yu-gi-oh trading card game(TCG) was quite secretive so no one gifted me any card unlike many of my friends who received their first decks from their relatives. The nest reason is that yu-gi-oh cards are too expensive because of the "Unreasonable" high quality(any change in font, texture or picture quality and many other more is deemed as fake). It cost around 20-30 dollars to buy a yu-gi-oh deck.
Why do I like to play yu-gi-oh trading card game? I asked myself many times. Well, I feel that it is the excitement when playing. You could feel your hand trembling when you pick up the next card, and your heart will skip a beat when your opponent activates a spell of trap card. The best thing of yu-gi-oh trading card game is that the tides of the game may turn with the impact of one card. That the best part. It makes yu-gi-oh trading card game much more interesting as you would only know the winner at the end.
What makes yu-gi-oh trading card game much better than other card games like Duel Master or Pokemon is that there is no such thing like a "best card" or even a "good" card. Duel Master had good card that everyone recognizes like "spiral gate" and "terror pit". However, for yu-gi-oh trading card game, every card is "good" or "bad" depends on other card in your deck. The most typical example is "Foolish Burial". It sends one card from your deck to the graveyard. It may be deemed as a ultra bad card, as you are sacrificing one monster, but in a "graveyard revival" deck, this is almost a "must-have".
I conclude here of all the fun and enjoyment that can be derived from yu-gi-oh trading card game. Why not you be join part of the yu-gi-oh trading card game community now? For a start, you may click here to know more of yu-gi-oh trading card game.

Merchant of Venice

Although many said that the Merchant of Venice, by William Shakespeare, is a comedy, it is still worth to analyze as there are hidden themes such as prejudice, love and mercy laid behind the scenes.
What is the play about? It is about a Merchant, named Antonio, lent his friend Bassanio, 3000 ducats Bassanio is desperately in need of money to court Portia, a wealthy heiress. Antonio does not have the money on him yet, hence he asked a Jewish money lender, Shylock for a loan. Shylock wanted revenge against Antonio, and he demanded that if he did not repay in 3 months he will have his flesh taken... Click here to read more.
The book, although written in the olden English, is still easier to understand compared to other plays of William Shakespeare. I loved the part of the court scene where Portia cleverly turned the court case against Shylock.
However, i also felt pitiful towards Shylock. I felt that he should deserves the right to carry out the bond, as Antonio had not been forced, but willingly agreed to it. Shylock should get what he wanted.

Singapore's national day

SIngapore's National Day is coming on 9th of August. Well what is the meaning behind Singapore's National Day? Singapore celebrated its first Natiornal Day in 1966, one year after Singapore's independence from Malaysia on 9 August 1965. The theme for this year is "Live Our Dreams, Fly Our Flag". I wondered what do you think of this theme? I find this theme very meaningful. We should work towards our goal and always remember our own country when we realised our dreams. We should never forget how our country's had nurtured us. Let us have a nationalistic national day!
