Should MOE abolish exams for P1?

I would like to address the topic “Should MOE abolish exams for P1?” I feel that it’s not recommended. In adulterhood or teenager, Singapreans felt great stress that is hard to cope with. The light examinations originally for P1 is a great preperation for the oncoming stess. People argued that abolishing exams can reduce stress but this is only a short term solution. Exam is the only and most effective way to measure one’s knowledge. Furthermore more difficulties will be faced when pupils graduate to P2. Hence, I disagree with the abolishing of exams for P1.
